Class Descriptions

Padma Vinyasa

An invigorating class priming you for strength, stability and deep inner calm.

Open to practitioners of all levels, and rooted in Jivamukti and Ashtanga yoga traditions, our Padma Vinyasa classes guide you in soulful, creative sequences deepened by great music, yoga philosophy, alignment instruction, mantra, relaxation and meditation.

You work at your own pace, following the teacher’s verbal as well as hands-on guidance. Asana (posture) options will be provided for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

Hatha Flow

These thoughtfully sequenced classes blend alignment with a slower paced vinyasa flow. Breath, intention, props and posture breakdown are used to support a well-rounded and deeply satisfying practice. Pranayama, meditation and philosophy are often sprinkled in.

Embodied Alchemy

A whole-body movement experience

Embodied Alchemy is a full-body movement class that blends simple choreography, breath and free movement into a grounding mind–body practice.

This class is not about performance or getting the steps perfect and you don’t need dance experience.

It’s a space to move in ways that feel natural- to build strength and mobility and to reconnect with yourself through rhythm and breath.

We’ll explore energizing, strength-building sequences alongside softer, more spacious movement. Some moments may feel powerful and activating while others may feel reflective and calming.

Think of it as a moving reset- a chance to listen to your body, release tension and return to yourself.

Come as you are.

Leave feeling clearer, stronger and more at home in your body.

All levels welcome.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a passive, meditative practice that removes stagnation deep in our connective tissues (our ligaments, joints, fascia). Poses are held for several minutes to gently stretch, moisten and rehabilitate the connective tissues. The energetic benefits of Yin are based on TraditionalChinese Medicine, in which we are stimulating the meridian channels of the body – rivers of energy (chi) that run through these tissues. By nourishing these organ channels, chi is able to flow more fluidly. Strong flowing chi stabilizes the emotional body, resulting in a peaceful and balanced state of being.

Sunrise Flow

Our vigorous Vinyasa class designed for busy people. Short and sweet, these one hour early morning flow classes will set you up for a day of focus, energy and insight.

Livestream Vinyasa

Our signature Vinyasa class led by instructor via Zoom. These classes are Livestream only and are filmed at Padma Studio.

Let the breath lead the way.
